We use the most sophisticated computer imaging technologies to restore, enhance and improve your photographs. Photo finishing is a long family tradition which began with my grandmother who supported her three children by "retouching" for local photographers. She was also a skilled artist at color tinting black and white photos before color photography. I grew up at her knee, watching her manually manipulate photographic images. The skills I learned from her have now been transferred to computer technology. (I secretly wish she had lived to see this day as she would be thrilled with this technology.)
AND RESTORATION
There is no risk of harming your original photographs during the restoration and enhancement process. Your photographs will only be handled with clean archival quality gloves. Below are examples of my work and a pricelist. The prices we quote you will be your total cost provided no additional work is requested.
Simple Enhancement $20.00 per photo, or $15 ea. for 10 or more photos Remove minor flaws, minor color fix, correct contrast, correct faded or yellowed image, fix light mold damage. Example-Wilbur. Major Enhancement $35.00 per photo, or $30 ea. for 5 or more photos Remove dust, scratches, slight tears & wrinkles and correct fading, includes all of above, correcting minor flaws and correcting contrast. Example-Judy. Simple Restoration $20.00 per photo, or $15 ea. for 10 or more photos Remove staines, rips, folds, text, correct discoloring, scratches, moderate mold fix. Example-Sisters. Major Restoration $55.00 per photo, or $45 ea. for 5 or more photos Remove faded or missing imagery, correct severe damage or scratches, includes all of "Simple Restoration" plus fixing major tears, and severe mold damage. Example-Judy#2. Manipulation $55.00 + per photo In addition to "Enhancement" or "Restoration" remove anything or anyone in image, or redesign image. This is an additional charge. Example-Braces. Colorization $30.00 + per photo Add color, change or remove color (Coloring is done in addition to restoration, enhancement and manipulation. If you choose this option, this is an additional charge.)
